I love Italian shoes … I do., my wallet doesn’t but I do!! Giuseppe Zanotti shoes are on my wish list - I love these sandals, all of them. Leave it to an Italian designer to make shoes all three ways… you know, flats, high heels and wedgies! Take a look at these:

As DH is busy flipping the channels like a madman, we got all hung up in the play-offs. As a player scored “from downtown” the song basketball jones started playing in my head - and made me long for a vintage pair of hightops… like these:

I completely agree with Desiree Stimpert in this article. I don’t really “get it” about crocs….These shoes are better left at the beach. Personally, I think it’s like those people I see wearing their pajamas to breakfast… why does one dress like that?

As for the Gator made famous by Lacoste… check out this site if you love the new ballet flats. These are really cute!

I am traveling this week, so my posts may be a little slow… but I will try!

So I am in the hotel watching VH1 and one of those “specials” on the 80’s and the metal bands… when I hear Tommy Lee talking about wearing stiletto heels and walking down Sunset Strip…. as a child of the 80’s I couldn’t resist posting on that comment.

So what kind of heels did they wear?

Some how I doubt it was anything like these… but ya never know!!

OK, OK… it’s finally summer… I will move off the boots now! However is it officially summer before Memorial Day?

I have to confess that I actually love motorcycles… I have a fantasy of retiring and driving cross-country on my Harley. Notice I say fantasy - I don’t own a Harley just yet… and if DH has any say, I probably won’t ever - but what I can have is Harley Davidson  shoes.

Although I should be focusing on Spring/Summer shoes, I love these boots!

This morning just waking up, drinking my coffee I saw an American Express commercial that spoke directly to those of us that are obsessed with shoes. The commercial starts with a young girl as a baby into grade school. While she was in grade school, she sees the school nurse walk by and says to her friend, “Can you believe she is wearing white after Labor Day”? The commercial continues and we see her in a store buying something for her twin girls, when an older woman walks in the store and says they are adorable, the woman immediately thinks the woman is complimenting her shoes! I didn’t do a good job of explaining the commercial - so you will have to see it for yourself. It did however, make me laugh. The other thing I liked about the commercial was how stylishly the woman was dressed, in the new “Bermuda” shorts with the cutest open-toe pumps. Similar to these…

Some of you may remember the days when the shoe must match the purse. Not anymore!! Well there are some shoes that look cute with a bag that has a matching trim or whatever, but they no longer have to match.

Speaking of purses and bags… and yes, I digress - but check out this site especially if you also love, love purses like I do.
