I was in a restaurant today, you know - one of those that has all the vintage ads, old stuff hanging on the walls.  I always preoccupy myself with reading old advertisements, besides the prices don’t even make sense!

One site I love is About.com, particularly Desiree Stimpert’s column on shoes.  In this article, she discusses whether or not expensive shoes are actually worth the money.  To read more go here… and then take a look at some great bargains like these cute shoes from Payless.  Saving money is never a bad thing….especially now at Christmas!

It’s time!  Thanksgiving is over, and we are officially in the “Christmas season”.  If you are like me, that means shopping for nieces, nephews, the cats and everyone in between!

I have written about the wonderful site, Bag Borrow or Steal… great idea for those of us that love our bags and shoes.  I mean, I don’t know about you but I am truly a rich woman trapped in a poor woman’s body -  but shoes??

Would you Bag Borrow or Steal shoes? I just don’t know if I could!  But it’s a cool idea in some twisted way, you know if you could just “borrow” those fabulous shoes that don’t fit the budget. Anyway, for me to even give it more than a three second thought, it would have to be something like these….$1,700 for these gold croc Pradas or these great “bow” boots from Mui Mui for $995.

A cautionary “don’t”,  just like we hate to see Christmas celebrated at Halloween - I mean COME ON, I saw Christmas decorations across the isle from Halloween decorations in one store! 

Wearing Mary Janes with ankle straps and rounded toes are a definate DON’T unless one has legs for days… (and if you are like me, you don’t) then check out these….
